Lebanese pop star Haifa Wahbi is currently considering taking out one billion dollar insurance policy on her body, following a dangerous accident three months ago while shooting one of her video clips.

Wahbi was shooting last June in Al-Rayak military airport in Al-Beqaa region in Southern Lebanon. In the clip, a helicopter was supposed to chase her convertible.

The pilot got too close and hit the car. The windshield was broken, and the splinters hit Haifaa in the head. The helicopter also caught fire due to a hole in the fuel tank. The Lebanese army came to their rescue.

Haifa was transferred to Khouri Public Hospital. She sustained bruises in the head and neck and muscular cramps. The doctor had it that she was miraculously saved because the blow she received in the head was very close to a sensitive artery, and her life would have been in danger had it been injured.

She believes her career would have been over had her body been disfigured. That is why she is seriously considering the body insurance, according to a report on UAE daily Al-Khaleej.

As soon as insurance companies got wind of Wahbi’s intention, the beautiful singer was showered with offers. The pop star is yet to decide which offer to take and hence join the long list of celebrities that have body insurance.
